With all of the talk of cutting high school sports, implementing four-day school weeks and taking other actions in Duval County, we all begin to wonder if we are helpless to the forces of fate. Although I went through a period of my own doubts about what difference we can really make as citizens, I decided that it is my responsibility to stay in the arena.
