W.C. Gentry was both right and wrong in the same sentence

According to the Times Union he said, he was disappointed in the level of media attention on the board members’ salaries.

Where a potential pay raise for elected officials during difficult financial times is news, the media barely hit the biggest story of the night and that’s the school board (minus Mrs. Wright) voted 6-1 to allow KIPP to open two more schools despite the fact the first one fell flat.

How with a straight face can the school board preach about accountability to its teachers when it allows failing organizations to open more schools? That was the biggest story of the night and it’s the one the media all but missed.

Maybe that was the plan all along.
