Putting Florida’s school grades in Focus

In 2009 41% of Florida’s high schools were A or B, they changed the formula. In 2010, 71% of Florida’s high schools were an A or a B followed by bit of tweaking and 78% this year. That’s a ninety percent increase in three years.

Do you think our public school system is ninety percent better than it was just a couple years ago? I bet yesterday many of you would have said we were trending in the opposite direction.

I don’t know if the scores were to hard in 2009 or to lax now, I do know it seems like Florida has no idea what it is doing.
