Who does the Duval County School Board really represent?

The school board also used an administrative trick to approve the three PR positions so they didn't have to discuss the issue or vote for them in public.

300k would pay for four art teachers in elementary school (One hour of art every other week doesn't seem like enough to me) or four social workers (often why kids do poorly in school or act up in school has nothing to do in school) or afford the district the ability to budget about 40 more teachers for summer school, a lot of our kids need year around schools so they don't fall farther behind.

Furthermore I thought we were broke or at least that is what they told the public and the maintence staff, custodians and paraprofessionals they downsized last year.

Our school board once again has shown their image is what’s important, they have shown who they represent is the administration and the superintendent not our children.
