Imagine how Jacksonville must look to the nation

Our school board feels free to keep the public in the dark.

Schools fall apart during the middle of the year (schools of the future).

There are no solutions for our education problems so we out source our poor kids education and millions of dollars to EMOs. Note they fail too.

We plead poverty while sitting on 160 million dollars.

Less than two thirds of our kids graduate on time, even less do so prepared for anything.

70% of our graduates have to take remedial classes in college.

Our schools lack rigor and discipline.

Teacher moral is rock bottom.

The former mayor says we are one good education system away from being a first class city and business leaders blame the school system for the city’s woes and not being able to atract bussinesses.

When the nation looks at Jacksonville this is what they see, well that and the Jaguars so I guess we have one thing going for us.
