Why certain board members shouldn't help pick the next super.

In a Times Union article, Board members said the board's previous superintendent search, which resulted in the hire of Joseph Wise, didn't feature the in-depth process the center for Reform of School Systems has suggested.

Um, what about with Pratt-Dannals? Did he indicate he was going to destroy teacher morale, eradicate student accountability and gut discipline?

Three current board members, Tomy Hazouri, Martha Barrett and Betty Burney helped pick the last two superintendents, arguably disasters. Now we’re suddenly expected to believe they can do a good job picking our next super?

Can we really take that risk?
