Being disruptive in local education education politics

By Jane Bowman

This is on the front page of the hard copy. Betty Burney calls Chris Guerrieri "disruptive" for bringing this to the board's and our attention.

The word "disruptive" is also used by the paper in their endorsement of Grymes for school board, dist. 1. "Grymes appears to have the ability to be assertive but not 'disruptive'."

They also speak about her opponent, Barrett: "While granting that Barrett is not a disruptive force on the board..."

They never define "disruptive". Could it be that "disruptive" means that you tell the truth, cut through the bs, or maybe that you are not a go along team player.
