A look at Duval’s 12 new charter schools, hint it won’t be pretty

Today the DCSB approved 12, count them 12, new charter schools. I thought I would give you a statistical analysis about what will likely happen.

One will be really good. Nearly 4 will be really bad and the other 7 will be as good as the average public school.

Four will have either accounting problems, legal violations or other problems when their books are checked.

All 12 will have a revolving door of teachers, most of which won’t have any experience or an education background. They will make less than public school teachers and some of their principals will make hundreds of thousands of dollars.

Two to three will fail in a couple years.

If statistics bear out this is what we can expect.

It’s not pretty.
