Solutions that don’t break the bank, reinvent the wheel or marginalize our teachers are within our grasp. We could have rigorous classes, safe and disciplined schools and treat teachers like valued colleagues rather than easily replaceable cogs, and we could do so tomorrow if we wanted. Compared to the rest of the state, Duval Struggles on EOCs and FCAT
A cursory look says many of our scores are below the state averages. This isn’t to say we didn’t make improvements I just didn’t do the comparisons (yet) between this year and last.
