I had written much about the school board race in district 7 because I thought we had two solid candidates. I am sad to say that Barbara Toscano has reported taking thousands of dollars from Charter Schools USA on her last filing.
District 7 doesn't need charters siphoning more money away from our schools there. Taking money from these mercenaries is very troubling.

I have a question. Since Hershey won the race for district 7, does this tip the balance of power on the school board? In favor of this administration being removed.
ReplyDeleteI think the board will eventually settle into two camps, Wright and Couch on one side, with Smith Juarez and Hershey inclined to agree with them more than not and Shines, Grymes and Jones on the other.
