I just cannot believe that in all the degreed folks, someone in education could convince the "system" to knock it off-kids need stability and relationships in order to learn. All the pay for performance, technology and turnover won't make those kids successful-consistency will. They are very perceptive and will tell you the truth about teachers, admin, discipline, etc. The overly enthusiastic will balance with the supremely unenthusiastic, and what you will have left is a good idea of what students think. Vitti should consider what students think, and not the best of the best, but the average kid. We received the teacher response data, but yeah, it should be published. I read through every question for my school and have it saved. It is invaluable and insightful. Perception is everything, and how each part (teachers, parents, students, admin) sees the school is important. Admin always seems to think it is doing an amazing job with organization, teacher morale, and discipline, but having been through several principals and scads of assistant principals, I can tell you that they are usually out of touch. Last year we didn't have one and this year, they aren't public. Teachers received teacher responses from their own schools only. T-U published aggregate parent responses. Where are the student responses? Students themselves think discipline is a huge problem. Climate surveys should be published school by school - parents, faculty and students like they were in the past, especially since Vitty has promised more transparency, not less.Anonymousnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-1107550755163115303.post-20713604724925613222014-07-31T04:58:11.236-06:002014-07-31T04:58:11.236-06:00Can I vote for both? Can I vote for both?Anonymousnoreply@blogger.com
