It sounds like h...What is John Jackson suggesting? It sounds like he is advocating for a separate (but equal) Code of Student Conduct for black students. If this is true, it would be a warm and fuzzy solution to the problem but fails to address the fact that there is no separate legal system for black adults. If we intend to equally follow the laws of the land, we should deal with the same consequences. If John Jackson is saying that black students receive harsher disciplinary action for the same offenses that may get other students a slap on the wrist, then he should say so.
