Let me get this straight.
Our teaching pay is going to be based on student test scores, we'll be on one-year contracts, they’re going to cut our pay and our benefits, they're trying to increase our class sizes, we're going to have to contribute 5% of our check to retirement, we can’t have our union dues deducted from our paychecks . . . clearly they must have thousands lined up for this gig!
Who else is being held accountable for our regularly touted successes?
It's amazing how one crazed and vindictive legislative session can destroy years of educational progress and the spirit of thousands of educators.
Apparently, the voters got what they wanted, but remember, "You can’t get blood from a turnip."
