Senate Bill 1630 would require the state to independently verify schools' "technology infrastructure, connectivity and capacity" are adequate to cope with the Common Core in a sustainable way. Full implementation of the standards and the associated tests would come only after all districts and schools have been tested and deemed ready for success.
Since the Florida Legislature asks how high when Jeb Bush says jump and Jeb Bush is all common core all the time, I would say this bill has less than a snowballs chance in h-e-double hockey sticks of passing.
Since doing things the right way here in Florida isn’t a concern when this bill fails it shouldn’t surprise anyone.
