It seemed like it anyways when he went on about them at the last school board meeting. If you are a fan of corporate reforms you probably don’t mind but if you care about public schools, I hope you are as outraged as I was.
The broad foundation calls for closed governance, merit pay, high stakes testing, vouchers, the parent trigger, charter school expansion and says that teaching experience and education don’t matter.
Why a board member would embrace somebody who calls for those things is beyond me but it does help explain why we find ourselves where we are.
