When talking about district promotions and why Dr. Young did not get one, the superintendent said, he was looking for the best fit to move the district forward when filling those positions.
Of course Dr. Young wasn't one of those best fits. He had a habit of empowering and sticking up for his teachers and he wasn’t part of Pratt-Dannals good old boy (and girl) network. Why would he be promoted?
Friends the sad fact in Duval County is who you know is way more important than your ability. Tommy Hazouri and W.C. Gentry as much admitted this over the last week but then inexplicably did nothing to prevent it from continuing to happen.
Until Dr. Young says differently the community can’t help but think he was forced out and personality not ability is the reason why.

Looks to me like this is one time the Black community should start screaming! This is obvious discrimination if he isn't promoted to an administrative job. The man is a proven winner!
