Brown returned to the only school he knows exists and tapped
communications professor Annmarie Kent-Willette, to replace the city's first
education Commissioner Donnie Horner. Gosh darn it if we wish really hard maybe
we will get a public school teacher into this made up position one day.
In the Times Union she went on to say, pouring money into
public education is an investment in the city's future.
One day on the job and she is already using her communication
skills to enflame the masses. Jeb Bush and his ilk already have a third of the country
convinced that all we do is pour money into education and receive nothing for our
investment.
Hmm wouldn’t investment have been a better way of saying spending
money on our kids is important. Let’s try it; I will replace pouring with
investing. Investing money into public education is an investment in the city's
future. Yeah that seems to work a lot better.
Psychology degree trumps communication degree.
