In a story about the super giving himself
47 out of 48 highly effectives, Fischer said he saw Vitti’s self-evaluation
and generally doesn’t disagree with the marks.
“The
superintendent has put in a lot of hard work,” Fischer said, adding that his
evaluation won’t be substantially different from Vitti’s. “He has worked six,
sometimes, seven days a week, 16-hour days. I know that. He knows that. That’s
what he’s trying to reflect in his self-evaluation.”
Um or
what most teachers like to call a typical week, unfortunately their evaluations don't always reflcet that. I hope Fischer uses this as a teachable
moment.

Fischer is a former Naval engineer(excuse me he worked with the Navy hew wasn't in the Navy) turned corporate hack(CSX). This guy has no idea what a teacher actually does. What do you expect? He takes his marching orders from his hero Jeb Bush. This school board has some real duds.
