Florida Education Commisioner Gerald Robinson's unbelivable anti-public education stance

Gerald Robinson has been in the state since June and he says he has seen enough to know many of our schools (specifically the ones in poorer neighborhoods) are terrible. Hmm I wonder how all our bad schools got in poor neighborhoods, weird, must be a coincidence right? Couldn't be poverty good it?

He specifically said, “There is an incredible demand for high-quality educational options in Florida, particularly in our low-income communities,”

His solution? Well more charter schools of course and as he said a few weeks ago the quality of those charter schools does not matter. Just as long as they are not public schools right Commissioner?

I had hoped his job would consist of making our public schools better, not replacing them with in many instances for profit charter schools.
