How do charter schools improve? They get rid of their worst students.
And don't think this doesn't happen in Jacksonville. -cpg
Hello, it's not just the charter schools...private schools are right up there also. Private schools tend to bury issues more than face them.
When education becomes a profitable enterprise, one must understand, its the same students, and similar teachers, so how are they supposed to excel, when public schools can't?
They kick out: truants, drug users, low achievers, undisciplined students, and special needs children. Special needs children are not encouraged because of the extra cost associated with them.
Take out these students, and how can you not succeed? In public education, we take everyone who walks in the door, and do what we can.
