On one hand he says look at the Florida miracle; I have turned Florida’s schools around (not that there is any evidence that says that is even remotely true).
Then on the other he says Florida needs more vouchers and charter schools because our public schools aren’t doing that great (not that there is any evidence that says kids who go to charter schools or who accept vouchers do any better) and more restrictions on teachers because they aren’t that great either. Funny, I haven't seen him in a classroom so it must be them doing the teaching.
If these two positions seem incongruent then you are paying attention, but the reason Jeb Bush feels he can have both of them at the same time is he doesn’t think we will do the research and that we’ll just believe whatever he says. He thinks he can have his cake and eat it too because we are dumb enough to let him.
