Only two FCATs, the third and tenth grade reading ones are used for promotion. If a student misses any other FCAT test or refuses to take them there are no consequences for the child.
Friends when the FCAT rolls around in the next few weeks take a day with your child, go to the zoo or to the beach or just have a picnic in the park. It will be a lot more worthwhile to them.
