A history of Superintendent Vitti's remarks about staff.

Here are three times the super spoke ill of staff in the district.

You know if a board member would have said disparaging things about me I would be upset too. Oh wait Scott Shine has already done that.

Fair enough, I knew there were risks when I started the blog but the thing is for a super who routinely belittles his staff the super is remarkably think skinned.

  1. Do you think this is why Couch, Wright, and Hall feels he has less respect for them than Smith-Juarez, Grimes, Shine, and Fischer? Because they were once teachers? This theme seems to underlay many of the past week's news reports.

  2. Read this article where Vitti states: “We do not have enough high-performing principals to lead these 50-percent to 60-percent [full] schools,” he said. “In Hyde Grove, I can send in an army to make sure the school is not an F ... but that’s not sustainable financially. We can’t address all these needs” over the long term.

If your school's utilization is between 50 and 60 percent, you are no good. And if you are at Hyde Park, you're totally screwed.
