When asked about the school district rankings recently released by the state, education commissioner Gerald Robinson said, “It’s not a question of fair or unfair. It’s an apple-to-apple comparison,” Robinson said.
St. Johns is the wealthiest county in the state and only has 33 thousands kids with twenty percent of them on free and reduced lunch, how is that an apples to apples comparison to Duval County which has 123,000 kids or Miami Dade where seventy percent of the kids are on free and reduced lunch ?
Does Gerald Robinson not understand what apples to apples means?
