What YOUR state board of education has been up to

They raised cut scores on the FCAT even though projections indicate an additional 15 thousand students will fail.

They have gone with charter schools over local elected school boards 100% of the time effectively ending local control of districts (local boards can still make decisions as longs as the state board approves of them).

They decided no school can drop more than one letter grade whether they earned it or not.

And finally their recent debacle with the FCAT writes, they were for higher standards before they were against higher standards.

At this point can they actually have negative credibility?
