NFL Replacement refs and Teach for America recruits, basically the same thing

Both are working hard, neither have much relevant experience and both are in over their head. Who do you want refereeing your NFL game? The replacement refs or the professionals? It should be the same way with whom you want teaching your child’s class too.

Sure there may be great TFA teachers but I bet there are a few pretty good replacement refs too. The thing is it shouldn’t matter because at the end of the day we should want professionals to do both. TFA reduces teaching from a profession to a job.
