According to the supervisor of elections she is. She has been on the board for arguably the worse eight years our system has seen since the end of desegregation. Yet for some reason she feels she deserves a third term?
Can we afford four more years of her leadership?
Here are some of her decisions over the last year alone.
She voted to give four schools and nearly two million dollars to an education management organization rather than find solutions, which is her job by the way.
While firing over a hundred teachers she voted to pay Teach for America 2400 dollars a pop to send in 100 novice teachers who both aren’t locals nor are they education majors.
She voted to allow the KIPP School to expand despite the fact the initial KIPP School was the lowest rated school in Northeast Florida. Would it be too much to ask they experience a bit of success before being allowed to expand?
She voted at a cost between two and three hundred thousand to expand the districts public relations staff, because the “…public just doesn’t understand…”
I think I just answered my question.
