In light of one scandal after another breaking from 1701 Prudential Drive this is even more important.
The Center for Reform of school systems, the organization advising the school board has suggested that open government is a hindrance, their founder Don McAdams has even suggested excluding the public on important decisions but this is the last thing the city needs right now.
We are looking for our third superintendent in the last 8 years and since Hazouri, Barrett and Burney picked the last two, arguably disasters, and the public and rightfully so, should have little faith in their ability to pick the next one.
