I see it now. The superintendent isn’t incompetent he just thinks different from normal folks.
When talking about sitting on 134 million dollars some 109 million more than the districts needs to, in an article by the Times Union super Ed said, “It does seem counter intuitive that in one of your worst budget years you have one of the highest roll-overs.”
You see its just counter intuitive to sit on the money while the district closes programs and people lose their jobs. It is just like all his other decisions, which didn’t make sense. His decisions to gut discipline, ratchet up grade recovery, stick level ones and twos in advanced placement classes, to promote his friends and sycophants regardless of ability, to ruin teacher morale, TFA, KIPP, and the list goes on and on and on. They weren’t wrong they were just counter intuitive.
