In the Times Union, Betty Burney said the board would like to have Nancy Broner, former School Board chairwoman, serve as the facilitator for the community and employee meetings (for selecting the next super). That hasn’t been finalized, nor has the fee that the facilitator would be paid, she said.
Are we scratching the back of former members again? Did you know the district gave former board member Vicki Drake a job in the community engagement office? I wonder how many people apllied for that position?
Why wouldn’t Bronner do this prestigious and important job for the district for free? Or why wouldn’t the district find some other community member who would?
Oh that’s right we recently found over a hundred million dollars in the couch cushions and they do so like rewarding their own.
