The Times Union editor wrote: Education has developed a bureaucracy that resists change. Excuses for poor performance are not acceptable.
I find this very ironic seeing how the Times Union has protected Pratt-Dannals like they are having a love affair with him. The editors have said for years that Duval County Public Schools are headed in the right direction when the evidence says otherwise, well the non-manipulated evidence anyways.
As for change we have had a lot, to much if you ask me and not much of it has been for the better. High stakes testing, destroying student accountability and making teachers second class citizens are just a few examples of the changes we have had.
