When talking about hiring a new lawyer for the district, the Times Union wrote: Board member Paula Wright has questioned why the position won’t be advertised.
Mrs. Wright, the board numerous times has approved no-bid contracts, many of which go to friends or benefit family members that aren’t advertised for, that are both no bid and no compete. Why is that okay and then not advertising for a new position not okay?
The answer is neither is okay but only a non-hypocrite would be able to see that.
