The title of his editorial in the Times Union was: We can’t delay selection of School leader. Later in the piece he talked about not being willing to sacrifice a year. Well friends that is exactly what he and the board are doing when they released their timeline to hire the next superintendent by December. That’s right folks by December!
It’s the beginning of March now and I get it, it should take as long as it does but there seems to be no sense of urgency for the board. Their next meeting is at the end of the month and they don’t plan to hire a search firm until July. That’s right folks in July!
The board should make every effort to have the new super in place before the beginning of the next school year, to have Pratt-Dannals still at the helm assures another wasted year.
