The darling of the corporate reform world, Teach for America, gets all-star treatment this week during Teach for America week and my question is, doesn’t the school board have slightly more pressing concerns? You know like finding a new superintendent.
The next two full board meetings where they are scheduled to discuss the search for a superintendent are March 29th and April 3rd. I know, where is the sense of urgency.
Each board member makes 37k plus, that might not be a lot to them but why do they have to treat the gig as if it is a part time job.
Hey school board instead of rubbing elbows with local prominent citizens and proving you are pawns of the corporate reform movement, you do your job instead.
