Transparency is number one on the school boards list of goals.
Where was the transparency at their quarterly goals meeting? You know, the meeting where they decided to fire the superintendent and where was it at the continuing quarterly goals meeting; you know the one where they did fire the superintendent? You won’t find transparency in the notes either because the board omitted mention of the superintendent.
The board as much said transparency doesn’t matter when Gentry and Burney said, they followed the letter of the law.
This was their number one goal folks and they failed spectacularly at it. @hashtag epic fail.
This is the goal as stated on the DCPS web-site: Communications and transparency, Enhance internal and external communications.
They have loudly communicated to the public that communication with the public just doesn’t matter.
It also makes me wonder what else they aren’t telling us.
