Jeff Reese, Times Union editor, says about Betty Burney’s brother being convicted of fraud, you can’t choose your family.

Yes it is true you can’t choose your family but you should be able to choose not to benefit off their fraud. Media reports out of New York City document how Mrs. Burney and Pricilla Jenkins, NYC councilman Larry Seabrooks sisters did.
