The Times Union reported about a contract that the board was going to give school bard candidate Connie Hall, who has also been either endorsed by or who has had campaign contributions given to by board members and senior administrators in the district. What the piece does not mention is it was a no compete contract.
That’s right folks instead of opening it up for bidding; they instead decided to give hundreds of thousands of dollars to their friends and family member.
If these services are so important then doesn’t the district have a moral and fiduciary responsibility to find the best people to provide them?
The answer? Apparently not.
