I am meeting with The Friends of Northwest Jacksonville Schools, at six at the Community Rehabilitation Center Institute located at 5308 Pearl St. I plan to discuss how inner city schools have been handicapped by national (NCLB) state (the FCAT) and local (to many to mention) policies as well as Betty Burney, District Five's current representative and Gerard Robinson the states Education Commissioner who will be in town tomorrow.
Then if time, solutions that we could implement quickly that don’t reinvent the wheel, break the bank, or out source our kids education.
