Education Directions says, who me?

As the board was voting to table the decision whether to give education Directions another 1.2 million dollars, the board asked if the representative of the company would like to make a statement.

Very bravely he told the board, at the end of the day Ed Directions can’t individually take credit for gains made at school. He said there were to many variables and some of the other variables could have led to the success.

This statement mirrors an article I read about them in the Times Union, which said, about half the schools they are in show improvement and about half don’t.

Isn’t 1.2 million dollar to much to invest in a maybe?
