First I would like to say I am appreciative that the Times Union linked my blog to their web site. Second I understand completely that this is something they didn’t have to do but at the end of the day they have censored my blog and my message.
They say it is because I am running for school board and they want to avoid any sense of impropriety, it doesn’t seem to matter that 99% of what I write and post I would do so anyways and 98% of what I write and post has nothing to do with my campaign or that I offered every candidate the opportunity to post 4 blogs, unedited, without commentary and with the title of their choice including my two opponents, Hall and Gaines Macintosh.
Censorship is an ugly thing and I would think and hope an institution like the Times Union would do all they could to avoid it.
Shame on them.
