I was going to write about how the first day testing woes were easily predictable but Miami Superintendent Albert Carvalho beat me to it.
Bob Sykes at Scathing Purple Musings is reporting at least 12 districts experienced problems:

Florida's leadership is incompetent bordering on criminal.
Wait until April when 8 grades are trying to get on and test rather than 3. We ain't seen nothing yet.
ReplyDeleteWhat in the world is the matter with the Times Union? Are they so far up the conservative you-know-what that they can't even see reality? This is news and should be thoroughly covered in the TU!
ReplyDeleteThe TU doesn't care to listen to people with actual experience. Unfortunately, this issue took up time that kids could be learning and teachers could be teaching. But no, we must test or else. The testing needs to stop; either trust teachers to do their jobs or fire us all.
