I imagine a lot of mothers and fathers, husbands and wife and sons and daughters and friends feel this way.
From Mom,
Subject line: DO NOT OPEN BRICK AND MORTAR SCHOOLS WHY? You agree to reopening brick and mortar school simply because of a political stance! Or is it because you really don’t care? Because from my chair you are pushing forward with an agenda that will result in countless children becoming orphaned because their parent was forced to return to an environment that was endangering not only their lives but the lives of all those they lived with. Don’t let this happen. Yes, our children need to be educated. Yes, our economy needs to grow. This can all be achieved. Let our teachers continue to educate through virtual classrooms. It will require parents to become more involved in their child’s education. Now there’s a great idea! If we are to get through this horrible pandemic we will need our educators. Doing what you are asking is to certainly bring nothing more than what we are already seeing, more and more cases, and with that comes more and more casualties. Where are you sending your children this school year? I bet it’s not to a public school.
