Duval looking to waive emergency drills.

So DCPS apparently thinks practicing what to do with emergencies is too dangerous but going to schools during a pandemic and where the emergencies may occur isn't. I would say we entered the surreal, but we did that a while back when the superintendent admitted that staff and students would get sick and schools would close but we should still proceed with in-school learning. Oh and school board members can choose to phone in. Hmm must be nice to have a choice.

Date: July 16, 2020 Time: 1:00 P.M. The Duval County School Board will hold a Special Board meeting on July 16, 2020, at 1:00 p.m. Board Members may participate via telephone. 

The meeting will be held in the Cline Auditorium at the Administration Building at 1701 Prudential Dr., Jacksonville, Florida. The purpose is to discuss the following topic(s):
